The Teacher Training Program will run from October 2016 through March of 2017. Students will have the opportunity to work closely with lead teachers and mentors throughout the course. In addition to the weekend intensives, students will meet between sessions with mentor groups to develop their home practice and teaching skills. By graduation, diligent students will be eligible to register with Yoga Alliance at the 200-hour RYT level and will have a practice they can take with them anywhere in the world. Successful completion will also qualify students for more advanced trainings with Colleen and Rodney, and potential opportunities to mentor in upcoming trainings.
The 200-Hour TT program curriculum focuses on the following:

The weekends with Colleen and Rodney will be combined sessions with teacher trainees from Yoga Shanti NYC and one other NY Studio.
Course Content Between Sessions:
Students will be assigned to mentor groups. Mentor groups will meet at least ten times over the course of the training, according to an explicit syllabus and schedule. The majority of mentor group meetings are done over the phone for convenience across locations.
In addition to weekend and mentor sessions, students will be required to attend, observe, and eventually assist APPROVED public yoga classes. Homework will be assigned between sessions, and will include keeping a daily practice journal and completing writing assignments and required readings. Students will be expected to have a daily yoga practice and weekly group involvement. The bonds and community that develop among students and mentors are the backbone of this program.
Tuition and Cost of the Training:
The cost is $3500 to be paid in full by October 10th.
An early bird registration will be $3250 if registered by September 15th (the early bird is highly recommended due to the demand of this training).
